ROSS THOMAS (SETH)
Ross Thomas came to the audition for “What’s Bugging Seth” in a blue jumpsuit with a pesticide tank and handed Director Eli Steele a “Bug Man” business card.
Ross’ passion made a strong impression on Eli. They worked diligently together for two months before the shoot. Ross questioned Eli relentlessly about the script and his hearing impairment and they worked on perfecting the speech impediment and mannerisms associated with the hearing impaired.
Soon, Ross began living life as Seth Singer. He went into stores and saw how people treated him differently because of his speech and hearing aids. He began to understand intimately the every day struggles of Seth Singer and when it was time to go to Monterey for the shoot, he was ready.
In addition to “What’s Bugging Seth,” Ross has already garnered critical praise from fans and audiences and is fast becoming one of today's biggest breakout stars. He stars as ‘Bailey’ in the original teen series "Beyond the Break" for The N, the nighttime network for teens. His other roles include films such as “The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold,” “American Pie The Naked Mile,” “Shelter,” etc. His TV roles include NBC’s pilot, “Lipshitz Saves The World,” “CSI,” “CSI:NY,” and WB’S “Living With Fran.”
Aside from acting, Ross enjoys traveling the world, surfing and snowboarding with aspirations to produce, direct and have his own production shingle one day.
